Asciak Tennis Academy Dominates in the Kulu Marsa Junior Open 2026

Players from the Asciak Tennis Academy delivered an outstanding performance at the Kulu Marsa Junior Tennis Open held in March 2026, showcasing the depth of talent and high-performance training environment that continues to set the academy apart in Malta’s junior tennis scene.


Across multiple age categories, Asciak Tennis Academy players secured an impressive number of titles, finals appearances, and podium finishes — a true reflection of the academy’s structured coaching approach and competitive mindset.


A Tournament to Remember


Leading the way was Lily Schranz, who produced a remarkable treble, winning:


  • U16 Singles Champion

  • U14 Singles Champion

  • U16 Doubles Champion with Maxine Soler


Her dominance across multiple age groups highlights both her versatility and consistency at the highest level of junior competition.



Andy Gingell Littlejohn also delivered a flawless performance:


  • U16 Singles Champion

  • U16 Doubles Champion



Meanwhile, Kurt Bonnici added to the academy’s success with:


  • U14 Singles Champion

  • U16 Singles Runner-Up

  • U16 Doubles Runner-Up



Strength Across All Age Groups


The academy’s success was not limited to the older categories. Strong performances were recorded across all divisions:


  • Ena Tanti – U12 Singles & Doubles Champion

  • George Spiteri Willits – U12 Singles & Doubles Champion

  • Ed Spiteri Paris – U10 Champion & U12 Doubles Runner-Up



Finalist finishes also came from:


  • Viviann Vunn – U10 Runner-Up

  • Christian Farrugia – U10 Runner-Up

  • Nick Gasan – U12 Doubles Runner-Up

  • Chloe Kuijt – U16 Doubles Runner-Up



In the U10 Consolation Event:


  • Edward Aquilina secured 1st place

  • Benji Portanier finished 2nd

  • Cyril Carabott took 3rd place
